Clocked into the voting booth around eight o’clock this morning. No lines, and almost no waiting for me in Albany, NY. My next-door neighbor was right in front of me when I got there. Aside from the level being stuck when I initially tried to close the curtain, it was all smooth.
When I look at the polling data at http://www.slate.com/id/2195956/ and play with http://www.270towin.com/ it is looking like 353-185 in Obama’s favor could be a real possibility. If that’s the number, you heard it here first, second, third, fourth, or maybe 4,531th. I had a conversation a while back about the election. The person I was talking to was wishing it was all over already. When I replied I thought it already was over, he laughed and asked me who won. All I could say was “Well, I’ll tell you who didn’t win – the old angry guy who can’t use a computer!”
