Ever” http://justincresswell.com/2009/02/my-reaction-to-microsoft-steps-up-browser-battle-is-what-ever/ http://justincresswell.com/2009/02/my-reaction-to-microsoft-steps-up-browser-battle-is-what-ever/#comments Sun, 01 Feb 2009 22:44:16 +0000 Justin Cresswell http://justincresswell.com/?p=141 The BBC News Technology section trumpets Internet Explorer 8 as Microsoft stepping up its efforts in the browser battles.  I only wish the average user could understand how bad a product IE is.  6, 7, and I’m sure 8 are just bad.  The designers and programmers with whom I work are already preparring for the changes IE8 will bring to the development and design world.  I played with one of the beta versions of IE8, and it broke a fair share of good web pages.  I am hoping that the rendering agents are more kind when it rolls out.

Folks should save themselves the trouble and use Firefox, Chrome or Opera.  Safari for Windows even.
